Children’s Ministries
Nursery
A fully staffed nursery is available for your children (ages 0-2) in all of our services. Our nursery volunteers are experienced and happy to create a safe, caring environment for your little ones while you worship. You will be notified through a church-provided pager if your child requires your attention.
Sunday School
Each Sunday morning, we provide classes at 9:15 a.m. for children ages three years old through sixth grade. Teachers share lessons from God’s Word, and the children participate in singing and activities.
Children’s Church
We know it can be difficult for young ones to sit through the Morning Worship service, so we offer a separate service children ages three through Kindergarten. Kids enjoy singing together, fun activities, and practical lessons from the Bible.
Wednesdays
On Wednesday evenings, concurrent with prayer meeting and youth group, two opportunities are available for children. First, your school-age kids can join in the fun of Truth Trackers) running from September through May. Truth Trackers uses Bible memory, Bible devotions, and Bible lessons to help children lock in truth and live out their faith.
From June to August, children have the opportunity to attend Summer Surprise on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. Every week is unique as the kids are taught practical lessons from God’s Word, enjoy a snack with their friends, and have game time outside if the weather permits.
Summer Bible Adventure
During the summer, we host a week-long morning camp for children ages three through sixth grade. Each day kicks off with a group assembly involving singing, activities, and an entertaining play. After the opening, it’s time for Bible study, outdoor games, craft activities, and a snack. We wrap up our time with another group assembly where contest winners are announced.
Teen Ministries
The goal of our youth ministry is to come alongside parents in their efforts to disciple their 7th – 12th grade children. We seek to assist our teens as they grow in faith and in their understanding of God and His Word. The youth gatherings are also a great opportunity for teens to develop strong friendships with other Christian young people.
Sunday School
Along with the other adult and children’s classes, the teens meet every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. to study God’s Word finding answers and life applications for the unique challenges and opportunities they face in today’s world.
Wednesday Evening Youth Group
On Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., our teens gather to share prayer requests, participate in Bible study, and enjoy time together through games and activities. It’s a great time to learn from the Scriptures, meet other Christian teens, and grow with Christian peers while under the guidance of caring adult leaders.
Other Teen Activities & Events
Our church seeks to encourage healthy friendships and teach our youth to glorify God in every part of their lives. With that goal in mind, we host intermittent activities throughout the year for the teens. These events vary in time, location, and activity, but they are always fun and encouraging. We take an annual youth retreat, facilitate teen participation in group outreach efforts, and create opportunities for them to spend time together.
West Chester Christian School
West Chester Christian School, a ministry of Bible Baptist Church, exists to further our goal of partnering with parents to develop disciples who love, serve, and proclaim Jesus Christ. The school was founded in 1972 and enrolls children from K- 12th grades.
